Ortovox RAVINE 28 ski mountaineering backpack

Ortovox Ravine is a lightweight and technical ski mountaineering and freeride backpack that offers the possibility to store or retrieve all important gear items on the move without having to take them off.

With the help of a parallel quick-release closure with a carabiner, even the widest freeride skis can be secured to the backpack with a simple motion if you need to carry them for short distances. Ice crampons can be stored in the practical additional compartment at the base, so they are always within reach without having to remove the backpack. The separate safety compartment allows quick access to all emergency equipment and a lightweight ice axe, while all items in the main compartment are accessible from the top or side. Additionally, the RAVINE 28 is equipped with the usual attachment options for skis, poles, rope, helmet, and ice screws.

Thanks to the ERGONOMIC FULL CONTACT LIGHT BACK SYSTEM, the backpack optimally distributes the load across the back and fits perfectly to the spine without slipping. For added spinal protection, the RAVINE 28 can be equipped with the CLASP SPINE PROTECTOR inside. The spine protector can be purchased separately, is certified according to motorcycle standards, and easily slips into a separate internal pocket.
