Ortovox Switchback 30 S is a ski mountaineering backpack designed for the most technical outings: it perfectly combines weight and comfort.
With a very lightweight design, the main feature of Switchback is the ability to access all the gear without having to take the backpack off your shoulders. You can easily and quickly access the pockets on the shoulders and hips, the side compartment for crampons, skins, and spikes, and the rope without removing the backpack. You can also attach the skis parallel to the backpack with a carabiner while wearing it.
The zipper running along the entire back is also convenient, allowing you to reach the safety compartment and the main compartment from every angle.
On the outside, you will find two handy daisy chains, two attachments for ice axes, a strap for securing the rope, and a net for carrying the helmet.
Don't forget the simply fantastic back panel that perfectly distributes the weight whether Switchback is fully loaded or the side compression straps are tightened.
