Patagonia R2 TechFace is a fleece that serves as the perfect mid-layer to face the cold. Our R2® TechFace Jacket offers warmth and breathability, but with the added benefit of abrasion and weather resistance that characterizes the most versatile mountain garments when the weather is variable.
The thick double-knit fabric is soft and warm against the skin, without trapping excess heat; the robust outer surface features a PFC-free DWR treatment (long-lasting water-repellent coating that does not contain perfluorocarbons) with anti-moisture performance.
Center-front zip with a shaped and softly lined garage for added comfort against the skin.
The left chest pocket and the two high handwarmer pockets have zips with a streamlined garage and allow for wearing a backpack and harness; two internal pockets.
Smooth, low-volume cuffs with a streamlined design that won't fray or snag on equipment.
Partially shaped hem to retain warmth inside.
