Patagonia W's Tres 3-in-1 Parka is a women's parka, but it is not just that: at first glance, it may seem like 'just' a beautiful city jacket, but there is a trick. You can wear it as an insulated jacket, but you can also use just the outer shell to have a good waterproof and windproof shell, and you can also use it as a true insulating down jacket.
In fact, this jacket contains two others inside, which, when combined, make a warm and complete garment that you can use in winter. Being composed of a shell and a down jacket, you can really use Tres in all four seasons!
Now let's look at its composition in detail. The outer shell is made of partially recycled polyester with an H2No Performance Standard membrane that makes it completely waterproof and water-repellent.
The inner jacket is a true down jacket that is knee-length and filled with 100% recycled 700 Fill Power Cuin down.
There are many details, and all are perfectly crafted. Regarding the windproof jacket, there is a waterproof bi-directional zip, a removable hood with a zip, and various pockets, all with zip closures and/or buttons. The down jacket, on the other hand, has fleece-lined handwarmer pockets, a chest pocket, and an internal pocket. It also has a drawstring at the bottom to tighten the jacket to your liking, and it can be stored inside the internal pocket!
You can connect the two jackets via a zip at the front and buttons at the cuffs and collar.
