Petzl Basic work and caving descender
Petzl Basic is a versatile caving descender that you can use both as a handle and for creating a pulley system. Compact and with an excellent grip, it is perfect for ascending on a fixed rope, in combination with a ventral descender. Petzl designs the Basic with a large lower hole to insert the carabiner of the lanyard and the carabiner of the footloop. The body is made of aluminum and the lever is made of polyamide, while the cam is made of stainless steel.
