Petzl Duo Z2 headlamp caving
Petzl Duo Z2 headlamp caving is the new lighting system created by the French brand, designed not only for caving but also for orienteering and cycling.
Duo Z2 has four lighting levels, a maximum power of 430 lumens in Boost mode, and an IP 67 waterproof rating up to one meter deep in fresh water for thirty minutes.
The lamp operates on batteries and comes supplied with 4 AA/LR06 batteries.
With Petzl Duo Z2, you will no longer blind your adventure companions thanks to the new patented anti-glare function, Face2Face, which allows multiple light beams to meet without glare, making group movement more comfortable. The lamp even automatically reduces its light output when encountering two or more light beams.
Let’s see what the four lighting levels consist of: the first level allows for manual distance lighting, low intensity, wide light beam, and great autonomy; the second allows for 'proximity lighting, with intensity suitable for comfortable close-up viewing and a mixed light beam. A third level ensures effective movement with a mixed and focused light beam. To provide you with excellent long-distance visibility, there is a fourth level with a very focused light beam.
The Boost mode allows you to temporarily access the maximum power of 430 lumens.
The maximum lighting distance is 100 meters, with a maximum autonomy of 12 hours.
