Petzl Jane-Y double lanyard for work at height
The Petzl Jane-Y double lanyard for work at height is a dynamic progression cord made up of two fixed, non-adjustable ends, a short end of 30 cm and a long end of 60 cm.
With Jane-Y, you can secure yourself permanently during rope ascent through the two ends. You will always be on two secure points: the long end to connect a blocking handle jumar and a short end to secure yourself when overcoming fractions.
The ends of the cords are equipped with a plastic sheath to keep the connectors in position during progression and protect them from abrasion.
The dynamic nature of the cord will intervene in case of a fall, reducing the energy transmitted to the user. The lanyard does not have an energy absorber and should therefore only be used if the fall factor is less than 1, in other words, below the blocking handle Jumar or below the anchor point.
