Description

The Petzl Maestro S descender is versatile, easy to use, and designed for rescue technicians.

Maestro features an ergonomic handle and an integrated brake to ensure you always have ample control over the descent and a comfortable progression.

With this descender, you have the ability to perform descents, lift, and move heavy loads, and use it both as a main system and for self-belay.

Maestro S has an integrated locking pulley, with a large diameter sheave on sealed ball bearings. The sheave is faceted and increases the friction zones with the rope, providing additional braking action for descending heavy loads.

The transition from the descent position to the lifting position is immediate, without needing to recover the load.

Maestro S accepts ropes with a diameter range from 10.5 to 11.5 mm and allows for the movement of loads up to 250 kg.

To insert the rope, simply open the movable flange facing the operator and follow the markings indicated on the device.

Petzl has designed an Auto-lock system that allows you to easily position yourself at the work site without having to use the handle.

When the user releases the handle, the rope automatically locks.
