Description

The Petzl OK SCREW-LOCK Black is an oval carabiner with a screw lock closure. Perfect for retrieval, maneuvers, and securing various tools such as pulleys, descent devices, and grips. The trigger under the closure is red, making it very easy to notice when the carabiner is not closed properly.

The company Petzl was founded by two speleologists, Fernand Petzl and Pierre Chevalier. Together, they made numerous innovations in their discipline and in sport climbing. In 1968, they began producing the first descent devices, and in 1975 the Petzl brand officially entered the market. Founded in France, the company has always focused on research, development, and innovation; it was Petzl that invented the GRIGRI in 1991, the first self-locking belay device. In 2014, new branches were opened in Spain and Germany.
