The foot ascender for caving Petzl Pantin is designed to make climbing on rope less tiring.
The Pantin should be used in combination with a mobile ascender, like Ascension or Basic, and a ventral ascender like Croll S or Croll L.
The Pantin should be attached to the inside of the boot, and by blocking the rope inside it, it allows the rope to remain taut under the Croll.
In addition to facilitating climbing, with the Pantin you can apply the "alternating step" technique, improving performance and efficiency in progression.
The straps are made of dyneema and offer exceptional resistance to abrasion and wear.
The rope clamp is made of steel and serrated, designed to eliminate impurities and keep the ascender clean even if the rope is wet or dirty.
How do you detach it? Just bend your leg backward.
The Pantin is available in versions for right and left foot.
Attention! This is not a personal protective device (PPE).
