Petzl Sum'tec Adze is the excellent combination of a technical ice axe and a classic mountaineering axe. Petzl Sum'tec is the top of the line in terms of lightness and versatility: it adapts completely to your goals, offering you maximum comfort and performance.
The blades are interchangeable to suit different advances on various terrains: with Sum'tec, you can comfortably adopt the piolet canne technique in snowy conditions, and, thanks to the pointed and serrated head, you can tackle vertical ice climbing with excellent grip. The curvature of the handle ensures a good anchor, protecting your hand while its straight profile will help you effectively plant the axe into the snowpack.
Sum'tec is also equipped with the innovative TRIGEST support that adjusts without the need for tools and is compatible with most Petzl accessories. The Sum'tec axe allows for the removal of snow and ice for comfortable and easy progression.
