Petzl William Triact Lock is a pear-shaped carabiner with a large opening, excellent for belaying and for the half-hitch knot. It features automatic opening technology with Triact Lock./p>
The company Petzl was founded by two speleologists, Fernand Petzl and Pierre Chevalier. Together, they brought numerous innovations to their discipline and to sport climbing. In 1968, they began producing the first descenders, and in 1975 the Petzl brand officially entered the market. Founded in France, the company has always focused on research, development, and innovation; it was Petzl that invented the GRIGRI in 1991, the first self-locking belay device. In 2014, new branches were opened in Spain and Germany./p>
