PIEPS Micro BT Sensor avalanche locator ARTVA
PIEPS Micro BT Sensor is an ARVA, an avalanche search device. This locator is the smallest, most compact, and intuitive of the entire Pieps line.
Thanks to a special sensor technology, this ARVA is very easy to use and automatically switches from transmission mode to search mode. Additionally, upon the first signal reception, the device will emit a vibration so that the user can focus on visual search on the surface.

- Maximum reception range with a radius of action of 50 m.
- Complete self-test: Checks all relevant hardware and software elements and displays the current software version.
- Large, easily readable display.
- Perfect performance mark thanks to precise signal processing without performance reductions.
- Auto antenna switch: In case of signal interference from the transmitting antenna due to electronic devices or metallic objects, automatic switching to the other antenna occurs.
- Auto Search To Send: This function automatically switches the Pieps transceiver from search mode to transmission mode if the device is not moved for a certain period (burial).
- iProbe Support: The PIEPS MICRO can be temporarily deactivated by the smart iProbe probe. The strongest available signal is automatically displayed on the ARTVA receiver.
- Group check: Verifies the activity and frequency of the companion's device. PIEPS recommends performing an ARTVA check before every excursion.
- Pieps Micro transport system: Hard and compact case for reliable sensor coverage, water-repellent materials.
