The Raumer Anellox is a stainless steel ring with a 10 mm hole. It is excellent for securing quickdraws during wall climbing; thanks to its rounded shape, it is also perfect for indoor gyms, as it prevents injuries due to the absence of sharp edges. It is extremely lightweight and durable, redesigned with a shape that allows force to be applied in any direction. The version we present is an updated model that replaces stainless steel AISI 316L with the previous AISI 304. This improvement makes the ring much more resistant to marine corrosion: you will find this mark on the edge of the ring.
WARNING: The Anellox is made of AISI 316L steel but is also available in a Marine version, which is even more resistant to corrosion caused by agents present near marine environments. Raumer treats marine stainless steel in a three-phase process: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. A stylized fish icon with the word INOX inside distinguishes the marine line from its normal version. At the bottom, you will find information about the technology used for this type of product.
Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specializing in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has been able to combine his deep passion for mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strong point from the beginning has been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, thanks to continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer is therefore synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place at the Vicenza plant.
