The Raumer Hang Fix M10AL nail is made of AISI 316L stainless steel. Equipped with an expansion element, it is ideal for mountaineering and climbing on hard and compact rocks such as limestone, granite, and dolomite. Thanks to its new design, the expansion can be fixed on most types of supports. The length of 86 mm allows for deeper expansion, resulting in greater strength.
WARNING: The Hang Fix M10AL nail is not recommended for very soft rock types such as sandstone. In this case, it is ideal to use chemical anchoring systems.
WARNING: The 215 nail is made of AISI 316L stainless steel but is also available in Marine version, which is further resistant to corrosion caused by agents present in marine environments. Raumer performs a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. Nails with this technology feature a circular throat and a punching point on the head to clearly identify the type of Hang Fix attached. Raumer is a company based in Schio, province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and speleology. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner, who combined his deep passion for mountains, nature, and speleology with mechanical technology. The strength has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, thanks to continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer thus positions itself as a symbol of quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
