The Raumer Hang Fix M10XL nail is made of AISI 316L stainless steel. Equipped with a double expansion element, it is ideal for mountaineering and climbing on many types of hard rock. Thanks to its new design, the expansion can be fixed on most types of supports. The length of 110 mm allows for deeper expansion and provides excellent resistance.
WARNING: The Hang Fix M10XL nail is not recommended for extremely soft rock types such as sandstone. In this case, it is advisable to use chemical fixing anchors.
WARNING: Item 150 is made of AISI 316L steel, but it is also available in Marine version, which is further resistant to corrosion from agents present in marine environments. Raumer applies a treatment divided into three phases for marine stainless steel: Solution Treatment - Pickling - Passivation. Nails with this technology feature a circular throat and a marking point on the head to clearly identify the type of Hang Fix installed. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, its owner. He managed to combine his deep passion for mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. From the beginning, the strength has been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, thanks to continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used — even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer is therefore synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production indeed takes place in the Vicenza plant.
