Description

Article 109.

The Raumer Hang Fix M12C expansion nail is made of AISI 316L stainless steel. Its expansion system makes it ideal for alpine climbing and climbing on hard rock such as limestone, granite, and dolomite. Thanks to its new design, the expansion can be fixed on most types of supports. Article 190 is a short type single expansion nail.

WARNING: The Hang Fix M10XL nail is not recommended for extremely soft rock types such as sandstone. In this case, it is ideal to use chemical fixing anchors.

WARNINGThe 109 nail is made of AISI 316L steel but is also available in Marine version, which is further resistant to corrosion caused by agents present in marine environments. Raumer applies a treatment for marine stainless steel divided into three phases:  Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. Nails with this technology feature a circular throat and a protruding point on the head to clearly identify the type of Hang Fix installed. At the bottom, you will find information about the technology used for this type of products.
