The Raumer Hang Fix M12L drilling nail is made of AISI 316L stainless steel. Equipped with a double expansion element, it is ideal for mountaineering and climbing on hard rock such as limestone, granite, and dolomite. Thanks to the new construction, expansion can be guaranteed on most types of support. The length of 100 mm ensures excellent grip.
WARNING: the Hang Fix M12L nail is not recommended for some types of extremely soft rock such as sandstone. In this case, it is ideal to use chemical fixing anchors.
WARNING: the chip chip 114M is in the Marine version, further resistant to corrosion due to agents present in marine environments. The Raumer company performs a treatment divided into three phases for marine stainless steel: solution treatment - pickling - passivation. Unlike the normal version, nails with this technology have a circular groove and a punching point on the head to clearly understand the type of Hang Fix. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, caving. The company was founded in 1992 from an idea of Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has been able to combine his deep passion for the mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strong point has immediately been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, thanks to the continuous experience and knowledge acquired, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer is therefore synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
