Raumer Moschettone inox R5000 with flush gate Type Closed

The stainless steel R5000 carabiner with a closed wire gate from Raumer is an even more effective version of its predecessor. The diameter of the carabiner remains 12 mm, but the increased breaking strength on the major axis (a remarkable 45 kN) makes it durable over time and safe to use. The shape of the carabiner has been rounded to enhance the smoothness of the rope on the inner profile. The wire gate is flush and made of high-strength stainless steel, and thanks to its lack of inertia, it prevents accidental opening of the connector. The carabiner is in a closed version, with a bar at the top that makes it fixed once in place, thus preventing accidental rotation.
The bar is not removable. Only upon request can we provide the carabiner with the bar separately.
Item 600 is certified according to both CE (EN 12275: 2013 – Class B connector) and UIAA standards.
WARNING: This carabiner is made of AISI 316L steel, but it is also available in Marine version, which is further resistant to corrosion due to agents present near marine environments. Raumer performs a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. The icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside distinguishes the marine line from its normal version. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has managed to combine his deep passion for the mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strong point has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel, which is even more resistant to abrasion, is used. Raumer is therefore synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
