The Raumer stainless steel anchor consists of a Wing Plate with a 10 mm hole and a Safety Ring carabiner, which, thanks to its screw lock, prevents accidental opening of the gate. Additionally, the closed type of carabiner prevents slipping on the plate and movement. The wire of the carabiner is 12 mm on the surface in contact with the rope, which optimizes wear resistance. Ideal for use in gyms as an anchor for top roping.
WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel but is also available in a Marine version, which is further resistant to corrosion from agents present near marine environments. Raumer applies a treatment for marine stainless steel divided into three phases: Solution Treatment - Pickling - Passivation. The stylized fish icon with the word INOX inside distinguishes the marine line from the standard version. Below you will find information about the technology used for this type of product.
Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and speleology. Founded in 1992 by an idea of Cesare Raumer, the owner, it has managed to combine his deep passion for the mountains, nature, and speleology with mechanical technology. The strength of the company has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion.
