The Raumer stainless steel anchor consists of two Rock plates with a 10 mm hole, a chain, and a connecting ring. It is the most economical anchor in the entire Raumer production line. The connecting ring has an inner diameter of 32 mm and a diameter of 10 mm; it does not assume a perpendicular position to the rock and requires the use of an additional carabiner to optimize the descent from both ends of the rope.
WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel - Marina version, further resistant to corrosion caused by agents present near marine environments. Raumer performs a treatment for marine stainless steel that is divided into three phases: Solutionizing - Pickling - Passivation. The icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside distinguishes this anchor from its normal version. At the end, you will find information about the technology used for this type of product.
Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of equipment for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and speleology. The company was founded in 1992 by an idea of Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has managed to combine his deep passion for mountains, nature, and speleology with mechanical technology. The strength has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer is synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place at the Vicenza plant.
