Raumer Gruppo Sosta inox is a system of two Rock plates, two chains, and two rings: it forms two arms that evenly distribute the applied forces. On some types of particularly fragile rock, this factor can become crucial in choosing the right anchor point. However, care must be taken during placement to achieve an angle between the two chains of no more than 90° and to drive the expansion bolts at the same level relative to the direction of the load that will be applied. The anchor point is completed with two plates with a hole of 10 mm in diameter and two connecting rings. This anchor group is appreciated because it can be positioned in any location; it does not matter if on a plate or under a roof.
WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L steel but is also available in Marine version, which is further resistant to corrosion due to agents present near marine environments. The company Raumer performs a treatment for marine stainless steel divided into three phases: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. The icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside distinguishes the marine line from its normal version. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and speleology. The company was founded in 1992 from an idea by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has managed to combine his deep passion for the mountains, nature, and speleology with mechanical technology.
