The stainless steel anchor from Raumer consists of a Wing plate with a 10 mm diameter hole and a connecting ring with an internal diameter of 32 mm. It is one of the most competitive pieces from Raumer and is excellent when used in pairs for creating anchors and for rappelling in a top rope setup. WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel - Marina version, further resistant to corrosion due to agents present near marine environments. Raumer performs a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. The icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside distinguishes this anchor from its normal version. At the bottom, you will find information about the technology used for this type of product. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has managed to combine his deep passion for the mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strong point has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer is therefore synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
