The Raumer stainless steel anchor consists of a Wing Plate with a 10 mm hole and a parallel ring with a profile of 10 mm in diameter. In caving and canyoning, it is ideal for the use of double rope even with a belay knot. Equally suitable for climbing and mountaineering to create simple, quick, and safe belay points.
WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel - Marina version, which offers improved resistance to corrosion caused by agents present in marine environments. Raumer treats marine stainless steel through a three-phase process: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. An icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside differentiates this anchor from its standard version. Further details on the technology used for this product can be found at the bottom.
Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner, who managed to merge his deep passion for mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strength has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following ongoing experiences and knowledge acquisition, AISI 316L stainless steel, which is even more resistant to abrasion, is used. Thus, Raumer is synonymous with quality, safety, and above all, MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place at the Vicenza plant.
