The Superstar chemical anchor by Raumer is one of the most widely used anchors. Its dimensions (Ø10x80) and lightweight design make it particularly versatile. The knurled profile of the shaft offers greater pull-out resistance. The eyelet features an asymmetrical shape, ideal for use on walls, and has ample space that allows for the simultaneous introduction of two carabiners. It is also possible to pass the rope directly through the eyelet and use the anchor to set up a safety rope, as the internal profile is smooth and does not risk damaging the rope's sheath. The matte color of the Superstar makes it very discreet, ensuring that it is less visible and intrusive on the rocky wall.
WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel - Marine version, which offers improved resistance to corrosion due to agents present near marine environments. Raumer treats marine stainless steel in a three-phase process: Solution Treatment - Pickling - Passivation. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specializing in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has managed to combine his deep passion for mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strong point from the beginning has been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer is synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production indeed takes place in the Vicenza plant.
