SCARPA Arpia WMN women's climbing shoes
SCARPA Arpia WMN, new for 2019, are versatile women's climbing shoes suitable for both indoor climbing and outdoor crag routes as well as multi-pitch climbs. With a reduced volume, Arpia WMN has been specifically designed to fit the shape of the female foot.
Arpia was created for those looking for a shoe that is halfway between basic and super high-performance models. It is therefore a fairly high-performing shoe with a slightly asymmetrical and curved toe, yet comfortable enough to wear for several hours.
The upper is made from three pieces of microfiber combined with one piece of suede leather for the footbed: this increases the comfort of the fit inside, there are no annoying seams, and the materials are soft and durable over time.
The midsole provides excellent support on small footholds. It runs along the entire foot and has a thickness of 1.4 mm. SCARPA has found a thickness that offers support without sacrificing sensitivity on the foothold. Vibram XS Grip 2 compound.
Finally, the V-Tension technology perfectly wraps the entire foot, keeping the toes in the correct position and thus ensuring good support on smaller footholds and good flexibility for smearing.
