SCARPA Maestrale RS ski mountaineering boots
SCARPA Maestrale RS are ski mountaineering boots suitable for experienced skiers looking for uncompromising performance.
They are compatible with all ski mountaineering bindings, but perform best when combined with skis that are 85-110 mm wide.
The shell is made from an injection-molded combination of two high-performance materials, Carbon Grilamid LFT and Grilamid, which guarantee exceptional performance with high torsional rigidity from the ankle to the toe. Additionally, the star-shaped design in the heel area helps to reduce weight while providing support in the most stressed areas.
The Ski/Walk mechanism is the Speed Lock Plus, a practical and quick system for locking and unlocking the cuff, thanks to the spring that enhances the lever's functionality.
The closure system combines several systems that together allow for excellent fit and sensitivity. The Power Strap Plus is ultra-lightweight and keeps the tongue in contact with the shin even during the fastest direction changes, integrating the RECCO reflector. The Thor Rack XT and Buckle system allows for effective lever engagement during the "walk" phase with a lightweight and durable system. The Wave closure system offers the possibility to customize the shell closure across the entire forefoot area, ensuring exceptional comfort. The heel is locked in position thanks to the HRS system: the combination of strap and lever on the instep provides an incredible fit for both uphill comfort and downhill performance.
The cuff features a simple and clean design with reinforced areas and varying thicknesses to provide adequate support during skiing while limiting weight. Meanwhile, the Intuition thermoformable Cross Fit pro Flex performance liner uses the exclusive Foam Intuition, the best in terms of fit comfort.
