The Click Up+ by Skylotec is an innovative manual braking belay device ideal for indoor and crag climbing, a technological evolution designed to offer maximum safety with dynamic single ropes ranging from 8.5 to 11 mm. This new version is even more effective in giving slack quickly and smoothly thanks to the renewed shell geometry and the patented carabiner retention system, which eliminates any snag during the lead climber's progression. Comfort has been significantly increased even in the seconding belay, especially with the use of gym ropes, while the new ergonomic shape of the outer shell facilitates grip and prolonged use. The real turning point is the integration of the V-Proof system, a patented mobile divider that drastically reduces the risk of errors in rope locking: if in the event of a fall the "V" angle between the two strands of the rope decreases, the divider promotes the rotation of the device and the consequent immediate stop. Like its famous predecessor, it allows you to stop a fall simply by holding the free side of the rope and to lower the partner with a slight pressure on the device, ensuring effective belaying thanks to the V-shaped braking grooves even in case of incorrect rope insertion. The Click Up+ comes complete with the HMS Tondo SGL HC carabiner, equipped with wear-resistant anodization and ACL system to prevent dangerous loads on the minor axis, ensuring a professional, compact, and lightweight assisted braking system for every climber.
