The joy of the mountain: the Vaude Uphill 8 weighs only 340 grams; it is a minimalist that is also exceptionally comfortable. The main compartment with asymmetric opening offers a volume of 8 liters; a flat and elastic mesh pocket and a side pocket with zipper allow access to the phone or snacks without having to take off the backpack. The multifunctional fastening at the front has three functions: space for the jacket when the main compartment is full, compression for smaller loads, and attachment for trekking poles. To ensure good ventilation, we have integrated 3D mesh on the back and shoulder straps. Reflective elements, a port for the hydration system, and an integrated rain cover complete the features of this multi-talented pack. All materials have a high recycled content. The ultra-lightweight silicone-coated main material of this lightweight pack has been made using a certified mass balance process in which pyrolysis oil is extracted from used tires and fed into a conventional polyamide production process.
