Versante Sud Corno Stella is the climbing guide dedicated to classic and modern climbs in the Vallone dell’Argentera-Valle Gesso, in the province of Cuneo, in Piedmont.
One of the most interesting mountain ranges in the Southern Alps is the Gruppo dell’Argentera with the Corno Stella. In this second edition, completely updated in content and graphics, in addition to the “Corno,” the Catena delle Guide, the Serra dell’Argentera with its Contrafforti, the Catena della Madre di Dio, and some interesting high cliffs not far from the Rifugio Lorenzo Bozano (C.A.I. Ligure-Genova), the last human stronghold of the picturesque Vallone dell’Argentera are also covered.
