Versante Sud Dolomiti Senza Confini is the trekking guide of the high via ferrata in the Dolomites, an incredible itinerary that erases borders and brings together in a single circular route 12 via ferrata and 17 alpine huts, surpassing provincial, national, and linguistic boundaries!
This is the longest continuous route of via ferrata in the world, divided into 9 challenging stages through which you can cover 125 km and 12,000 meters of elevation gain, always immersed in the Dolomites.
The route follows the historic paths along the front of the First World War and, keeping away from roads and towns, connects the Italian provinces of Bolzano and Belluno and the Austrian province of Eastern Tyrol.
Inaugurated 100 years after the end of the war, it aims to be a high route in the name of peace, starting from the idea that the mountains do not represent a barrier, but a meeting place between different peoples, languages, and cultures.
The author Daniel Rogger, who has always lived and worked among the Dolomites of Sesto, is a deep lover and connoisseur of these territories, which he helps to enhance and promote through his work as a Mountain Guide.
