Given the amount of material, the author decided to divide the work into two volumes, presenting in this second volume the area that includes the upper Sarca valley, and the famous walls of the striped slabs and the Valle dei Laghi.
In particular, the areas covered are Dro, Pietramurata, Sarche, Vezzano, and Terlago.
The guide is accompanied by the author's drawings, updated for the occasion, accurate historical and logistical notes, and a complete assessment of the beauty and difficulty of the route.
The author, Diego Filippi, is from Trentino, an expert on the Sarca valley, and to write this guide, he also relied on the stories and testimonies of historical and current climbers who shared their experiences in these stunning mountains.
