This is what the author proposes in the selection of 60 hiking itineraries in the area known as Lario Occidentale. This shore includes a mountainous area identified by natural and political boundaries: to the east the Lake, to the west Switzerland, from south to north the city of Como, up to the border of the province itself in the municipality of Sorico. In a territory that extends from the Prealpi Comasche-Luganesi to the extreme eastern sector of the Lepontine Alps, the excursions range from 200m at the lake to 2400m at Sasso Canale.
The itineraries are presented in numerical sequence, from south to north, allowing for immediate consultation. Each individual itinerary has been traversed by the author with the intent to effectively relate the landscape and technical characteristics, while GPS tracks have been recorded to offer greater accessibility to the information.
