ViviDolomiti DoloMITICHE outdoor artworks is a climbing book where each chapter tells the story of a different climber, in order to suggest a path to follow their traces through the walls of a life.
It also includes many unpublished writings and the original accounts of the first ascenders, creating a valuable practical compendium for climbers, who will find information and sketches of many routes that have never been published before. With high-resolution aerial images, it aims to be an additional inspiration to contemplate the beauty and majesty of the Dolomites, hoping to ignite dreams not only of climbers but of all mountain enthusiasts.
"DoloMitiche" was born in 2011 as a project of video-documentaries on the history of climbing in the Dolomites, enriched by articles, photos, and reports. Although it started with virtual appearances, in the mind of the author Alessandro Beber, it has always been a real book, and this is its necessary paper transposition, given the high testimonial value of the collected material.
