ViviDolomiti Sulla Via Alpina: Walking for the pleasure of walking… but with an ambitious project in mind: to traverse the Alpine arc from Trieste to Monte Carlo, alone and without logistical support. This volume contains the diary of the adventure, describing the struggles, the disorientations, the fears, but also the small great daily joys like finding a lost trail, reaching the day's destination, a plate of polenta, and a glass of wine. And above all, there is a feeling of estrangement, of distance from the things of the world: one experiences a solitude that is often extreme, in a state of suspension, of unreality, of dream. From this impalpable matter takes shape a tragic event that, in some way, involves the author. Thus, the protagonist, unwittingly, takes on the role of the unaware investigator. Truth or fiction? The boundaries become blurred: dream and reality, therefore, (con)fuse and shape the narrative, like the clouds carried by the wind between the cliffs and rock gorges. The seemingly reckless contamination between two very distant genres contributes to making the reading of this diary enjoyable and, at the same time, captivating.
