Blaze 86 is a ski that lends itself to everything, characterized by a hybrid Tip to Tail multilayer wood core, a central width of 86 mm, and a 3D sidecut.

To tackle adverse conditions with snow that is blown away by the wind and damaged, the 86 model integrates suspension elements that completely surround the tip and tail. The elastic rubber material used on the tip and tail acts as a bumper, ensuring greater resistance to stress and exceptional floatation.

SUSPENSION TIPS & TAILS

Elastic TPU inserts on the edges of the tip and tail act as bumpers in wind-packed or machine-groomed snow conditions. Its elasticity absorbs shocks, ensuring greater stability and floatation without hindrance.

HYBRID MULTILAYER WOODCORE

The hybrid multilayer wood core, with an extremely complex and remarkably lightweight structure, is used for the Blaze series. This core integrates lightweight and extremely stable poplar and beech wood elements that are individually weighed and subsequently selected before being glued. In the Tip to Tail structure, the wood extends all the way to the tip and tail, thus producing an ambitious combination of good stability and reduced weight. At the center of the core, an Isocore zone shaped through CNC milling contributes to optimal durability and dynamic development. In summary, this type of structure makes it possible to harmonize the stability of the ski according to the high demands of freeride, while keeping the weight only slightly above that of a ski touring ski.
