Wild Country Friends is the new friend designed by the British brand and intended for trad climbing.
The New Friends features a two-axis construction and a single cue. It replicates the function of the first friend invented in the 1970s by the genius Mark Vallance and is available in three sizes.
Its operation is enhanced by the hot-forged 6082 light alloy construction, which, together with the special design of the cams and axles (hollows), contributes to making the friend also extremely light.
The double axles allow the movement of the friend to be exploited to the full to increase placement capacity.
The 12 mm dyneema webbing can be used single to lengthen the protection or double to increase tensile strength.
Undoubtedly the New Friend are among the best you will find on the market.
