Description
The Xenon HMS belay by Wild Country is a screwgate carabiner with a compact pear-shaped HMS geometry, optimal for safety, mountaineering, and belaying on multi-pitch routes. Weighing only 73 grams and featuring an I-beam structure, it perfectly balances weight, strength, and durability, offering a strength of 24 kN on the major axis, 10 kN on the minor axis, and 7 kN in the open position. Its spacious "pear" shape easily accommodates knots and is ideal as a central belay element, while the Keylock nose is designed to facilitate the removal of tight knots like the bowline. The visual closure indicator on the screwgate enhances safety, and the large 21 mm lever opening ensures easy and quick clipping. It is certified to EN 12275 and UIAA 121.
