ZAG is a know-how that was born in France in 2002 and more precisely in Bourg St Maurice. A new independent ski brand that emerged at a time when snowboarding was cool but skiing a little less so. The idea of Stéphane Radiguet, aka ZAG, was to bring back the feeling of snowboarding on skis by developing a ski with a new technology, the rocker. In 2003, this rocker technology was awarded an ISPO Brand Award, and in 2008 ZAG launched the first double rocker technology with the development of our SLAP range: a concentrate of our know-how. They was just a small French ski brand in development at the time, and in 2010 they decided to think bigger by moving to Chamonix Mt-Blanc, the world capital of mountaineering and freeride skiing, to be among the biggest in French skiing. Indeed, ZAG skis are thought out, prototyped and tested in Chamonix, at the foot of the Grands Montets, by ski enthusiasts.
