AustriAlpin Eleven ID screw-lock climbing carabiner is ideal for numerous activities practiced in the alpine environment, from climbing, caving, canyoning, ice climbing etc.
Eleven ID has a brass opening ring and is characterized by a breaking load of 11 kN with the lever open, 25 kN along the major axis and 8 kN along the minor axis.
The particular asymmetrical D shape means that most of the load is located on the main axis, the most resistant.
The sliding surfaces are wide and this definitely reduces its wear and the bend angle of the rope.
The screw nut allows you to avoid accidental opening of the finger and to obtain greater safety: this makes it suitable also for professional work. In mountaineering it is used for stops.
