The North Face AMP collection

On a cool October day, we set out to test the new The North Face's AMP All Mountain Purpose collection in one of the pioneering Italian destinations for climbers: Val di Mello. Together with Agostino Chiarucci, a climber and photographer from the new outdoor scene, we repeated some of the valley’s historical trad climbing routes.

The new All Mountain Purpose collection by The North Face is dedicated to those who live adventure without compromise, designed to ensure durability and high performance even in the most extreme situations. Each piece is crafted to withstand intense use by outdoor enthusiasts, while maintaining comfort and reliability.
The collection's innovation lies in the fusion of simplicity and advanced technology: reinforced seams and integrated ventilation systems ensure excellent body temperature management. Versatility is another key element, with designs created to adapt to various activities, allowing a smooth transition from trekking to climbing without needing to change gear. This collection enables maximum convenience for those who spend long days outdoors.

Designed for those who face the most unpredictable weather conditions, the garments are crafted with high-quality materials like GORE-TEX, offering waterproof and breathable protection suitable for both light rain and sudden downpours.
The All Mountain Purpose line reflects the essence of modern exploration, inviting wearers to push beyond limits toward new challenges and uncharted destinations.
