Climbing in Valdadige has recently been rediscovered and promoted. In the past few years, it’s become even more accessible thanks to a free online guidebook, now in its sixth edition (first published in May 2017). The project has been carried out by Mario Brighente, with the support of his climbing friends Manuel Leorato, Simone Gianesini, and Christian Confente. After eight years of research, they gathered and organized all available information in a comprehensive interactive PDF guide.
The author had already shared his mountain experience in the Valle del Sarca Mon Amour guidebook. Later on, he worked on the development of an area of Valdadige. His enthusiasm for the project pushed him, together with Manuel, Simone, and Christian, to create a digital tool that could be constantly updated, allowing everybody to have the most up-to-date information.

What do we find in VperValdadige
The V per Valdadige guidebook comprises all the routes set by Mario Brighente, plus other itineraries opened by other route setters. Thanks to the work of several contributors, the new edition counts a large number of downloads. The guidebook is a comprehensive work comprising both new and older routes, giving at times the option of linking different itineraries together.
On the online guidebook, you will find all route descriptions, including classic alpine, trad, and artificial routes, as well as the newer sport climbing routes, set with a modern approach on harder grades. The high number of downloads pushed the authors to start another project, D per Dolomia. This new guidebook will also include both multi-pitch and sport climbing routes, this time on the Dolomites. The e-book will be free for all and will include a lot of climbing options.
