    La Sportiva is an Italian company whose roots go back to the 1920s. It was Narciso Delladio who started the production of wooden clogs and leather shoes for the people of the Val di Fassa and Val di Fiemme. During the 1950s he presented, along with his son Francesco, the brand La Sportiva, which became soon a very renowned name in the climbing world.
