Evolv Phantom are super performing climbing shoes, designed for those who need a sensitive and technical model to close their projects!
The upper of the Phantom is made entirely of synthetic and vegan friendly materials that allow it to maintain its shape and not grow over time!
On the tip area there is a large rubber insert that will give you all the grip you need even in the most extreme hooks.
This model also integrates the VTR, or a system thanks to which the rubber that covers the upper along the circumference of the shoe has variable thickness depending on the specific point! In those of greater stress the rubber will be thinner, while in others it will be thicker. This increases both your comfort and the durability of the foot pocket!
Evolv, in collaboration with Daniel Woods, has tried to create a sensitive shoe, which allows those who use it to face technical and difficult walls. For this reason, it has integrated a system of two midsoles which combined make this shoe really performing!
The first is the AVT (Abridged Variable Thickness), a midsole placed in the front of the shoe, with variable thickness, which tapers closer to the toe area, in order to support the foot and at the same time increase the sensitivity in the small supports. This technology brings sensitivity to the highest levels in the area of the big toe, where the midsole is cut, giving you the opportunity to feel exactly the micro support you are loading!
The second midsole integrates with the TPS + (Tension Power System Plus) tensioning system which gives the shoe the arched shape which allows it to be precise and release all the force in the toe area, even on very overhanging walls. This system also allows the liner to maintain an aggressive profile over time which eliminates empty spaces and ensures sensitivity and grip at all points.
The rubber with which the sole is coated is the Trax SAS 4.2mm, Evolv's top of the range in terms of grip and durability!
The closure system is a single strap, with 6 adjustable tension points: you will surely find the perfect adjustment for your foot and you can quickly put on and take off the shoe!
This is a unisex model, but the sizes are indicated as for men. So for a woman it is recommended to go down a number and a half compared to that indicated. For example if a woman wears a 9 it is recommended that she buy a 7.5.
