WildClimb Dagara is the 2019 absolute novelty of this 100% Italian company for what concerns the world of climbing shoes!
As the name also tells us, this liner has been designed specifically for indoor climbing. The racing world has changed a lot and Wild Climb keeps up with the new features of the track, creating a shoe that can offer maximum sensitivity to support.
Our loved ones and at the same time hated volumes have changed the needs of all indoor climbers. We no longer need a rigid and precise shoe in the small supports that gives us support but rather the opposite: we need a soft liner, which allows us to smear the foot without struggling in the large volumes that we find ourselves in front of every day to perform at best the balancing act.
That's why Dagara is less asymmetrical and curved compared to the classic climbing shoes. The upper has been made with a two-component microfibre that combines two types of synthetic material that together can reproduce the comfort and characteristics of the skin, while retaining the quality of the microfibre to maintain its shape over time.
To increase sensitivity Dagara sees the midsole sole and insole assembly much thinner than all the other shoes. In fact, if a shoe reaches a thickness of almost 6 mm, Dagara thanks to a particular technology that uses rubber laminated to microfibre, turns out to be very thin: two millimeters thick for rubber midsole and insole! But be careful: rubber has not been removed so the life of the shoe is not compromised!
The part of the heel is enclosed by a layer of thin rubber and with a lot of grip that allows you excellent heel joints. The double wide velcro closure allows you to adjust the internal volumes starting from the heel.
Finally, to facilitate the top hooks, Wild Climb has added a thin layer of new rubber to the world of climbing shoes: it is soft, very adherent and does not absorb magnesite to prevent you from slipping!
We also want to remind you that almost the entire range of shoes that WildClimb offers are vegan. This means that materials of animal origin are not used for the realization: quinidi synthetic upper but also the glues and dye!
