Atomic Backland 86 Sl W are incredibly lightweight and highly versatile alpine touring skis designed for women attracted to mountaineering. The Atomic Backland 86 W SL is built with super lightweight SL fiberglass, Ultra Light Woodcore construction, and Carbon Backbone to reduce overall weight for efficient ascents. The result of this combination of materials is a super lightweight ski that excels in every aspect of backcountry skiing. The overall weight of this ski is between that of the Backland UL and the regular Backland skis. Specifically shaped underfoot to facilitate the stride during ascents, particularly on longer routes, the All Mountain Rocker profile and HRZN technology in the tip allow the ski to float in fresh snow. The tip notch enables quick insertion of Atomic's Pre-Fit skins.
