The Atomic Backland 86 W SL is built with super lightweight SL fiberglass, Ultra Light Woodcore construction, and Carbon Backbone to reduce overall weight for efficient ascents. The result of this combination of materials is a super lightweight ski that excels in every aspect of backcountry skiing. Specifically shaped underfoot to facilitate the stride during ascents, particularly on longer routes, the All Mountain Rocker profile and HRZN technology in the tip allow the ski to float in fresh snow. The tip notch allows for quick insertion of Atomic's Pre-Fit skins.
