BD Black Diamond Storm 500-R is designed for epic adventures in all conditions, featuring a robust waterproof and dustproof casing and 500 lumens of intense light. Powered by our Li-ion BD 2400 battery (included), rechargeable via micro USB, the Storm 500 R also features an elastic made sustainably with Repreve recycled fabrics. The compact body is ergonomic, and the updated user interface includes a second switch for easy mode selection. Additionally, the updated optical efficiency not only provides brighter light but also extends battery life, which you can now easily monitor with a six-setting battery meter and three LEDs. The Storm 500 R also offers three night vision modes in different colors and white peripheral lighting for short-distance activities, such as meticulously reorganizing gear for the final summit stretch in the dark. The headlamp is equipped with the Brightness Memory function, allowing you to turn the light on and off at a chosen brightness without reverting to the default maximum power setting. The PowerTap Technology of the Storm 500 R allows for quick and easy access to maximum brightness with a simple touch.
