Black Diamond Hotforge Quickpack set climbing quickdraws
The Black Diamond HotForge Quickpack is a set consisting of six 12 cm HotForge quickdraws, designed to offer maximum keylock functionality at an excellent price-to-quality ratio. These quickdraws are made from 7075 aluminum, which includes 25% pre-consumer recycled material, and feature a hot-forged construction that reduces overall weight.
Each quickdraw is configured with two HotForge carabiners: one with a straight gate on top and one with a bent gate on the bottom, the latter colored to serve as an immediate visual reference during climbing. The lightweight design and keylock system on both carabiners facilitate both rope clipping and route cleaning operations, eliminating the risk of snagging on both sport routes and during protection extensions.
The connection is secured by an 18 mm polyester Dogbone sling, equipped with the integrated Straitjacket system that keeps the lower carabiner locked in the optimal insertion position. The complete package, produced in Taiwan, weighs 618 grams and is composed of 55% aluminum, 29% polyester, 5% steel, 5% TPU, and 1% nylon.
