CAMP Rapid Racing ski mountaineering backpack
The CAMP Rapid Racing is a ski mountaineering backpack designed for competitions and fast skiing, ideal for experienced enthusiasts. This new model, updated for the 2023/2024 ski season, features a series of improvements derived directly from the experience of CAMP athletes, demonstrating that evolution is a continuous process.
One of the main innovations is the ski attachment system, known as X-Press, characterized by an ergonomic tab that allows for quick and secure attachment of the skis. When not in use, this tab automatically returns to its position, avoiding clutter. Additionally, the X-Press system is adjustable, allowing for optimization of ski stability when carried on the shoulder. A second adjustable tab has been added to facilitate the insertion of the ski tails, adapting to different ski sizes.
The crampon holder has been improved, now equipped with a velcro closure and magnets that enhance safety. This compartment is connected to the main compartment via an internal zip, ensuring greater practicality.
The Rapid Racing also offers a series of features specific to equipment, including an external ice axe holder with an upper elastic cord and a removable lower strap. Furthermore, it is equipped with the Truck Bull system, a valuable aid in team races in difficult situations.
Inside the backpack, there are compartments specifically designed for avalanche safety equipment.
In terms of comfort, the Rapid Racing features a new lightweight mesh back panel that is highly breathable, as well as ergonomic shoulder straps and a belt that is also ergonomically designed.
These improvements have been developed in collaboration with the athletes of Rapid Racing, who were directly involved in the design and development process of the product, demonstrating the brand's ongoing commitment to providing high-quality solutions for ski mountaineering enthusiasts.
